Summary 

Natural dyes could be a solution to current harmful synthetic dyeing processes. However, there is set-up consideration and some potential issues that would need to be addressed when trying to dye textiles with natural dyes on a commercial scale. There are some examples of companies who do this but there are not many.
It is important that the textile industries, particularly large companies, look into natural dyeing and if they could apply it in their manufacture processes as a step to making their products more sustainable and kinder to the environment.
